Description
Rarely does it pay off for me to see a shot and think, “This’ll look much better later.” Sometimes I’m dead wrong. But more often, I just forget to come back and see.
This was not one of those cases.
My family and I were hiking Pagosa Peak in Colorado. Near the top, I saw this little scene and thought that normally pernicious thought: “This’ll look much better later.” But this time, I said it out loud, and there was someone there to listen.
On our way back down, as we were about to pass right by it, my wife saved the day! “Honey, weren’t you going to take a picture over there on our way down?”
**About Print Materials**
Fine Art Photo Paper – This is what you normally think of when you think of a print. It’s printed on high quality photo paper and will look fantastic in your custom frame. I recommend using a frame with a matte.
Metal – If you don’t want to bother with a frame, this is a great print medium option! The photo is printed on aluminum, bleeds all the way to the edge of the material, and comes with wall mounting hardware already installed.
Acrylic – Similar to the metal prints, acrylic prints don’t need a frame. Instead of aluminum, though, these are printed on acrylic, which gives an interesting illusion of depth to the print.
Image Block – Another frameless option, image blocks are printed on 1 inch thick blocks with a wrap-around edge. This option also comes with wall hanging hardware pre-installed.
Canvas – Canvas is a classic way to display fine art prints. Images are printed on linen canvas, have wrap-around edges and include hanging hardware pre-installed.
